Block Access Control in Wireless Blockchain Network: Design, Modeling and Analysis

Wireless blockchain network is proposed to enable a decentralized and safe wireless networks for various applications. To achieve consensus in network, one of the important steps broadcast new block using channel. Under protocols, transmitting will be affected significantly. In this work, we focus on process blockchain-based local area (B-WLAN) by investigating impact media access control (MAC) protocol, CSMA/CA. With randomness backoff counter CSMA/CA, it possible latter blocks catch up or outpace earlier one, which complicates forking problem. view this, propose mining strategies pause reducing probability, discard strategy remove that already exist CSMA/CA procedure. Based strategies, design Block Access Control (BAC) approaches effectively schedule improving performance B-WLAN. Then, Markov chain models are presented conduct analysis The results show BAC can help high transaction throughput while utilization saving computational power. Meanwhile, trade-off between demonstrated, act as guidance practical deployment blockchain.
